Spirituality in Trying Times
We regret that NO Masses, whether Sunday or Weekday, are being offered open to the public until further notice. Everyone remains excused from their Sunday obligation.
Because of Governor John Bell Edwards requested that all citizens of the State of Louisiana “stay at home” to help slow the spread of the Coronavirus, we are limiting the opening of our churches. St James Parish has issued a curfew from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM starting immediately, until further notice.
St. Joseph Church and Most Sacred Heart Church will remain CLOSED until further notice. St. Michael Church and Prompt Succor Chapel will be OPEN for private prayer on Sundays only, from 8:00 am to 12 Noon.
There will be Blessed Palms available in front of all four churches on Palm Sunday.
The Pastoral Center will remain closed for all business until further notice. Please continue to check the cluster website for further updates.
During these trying times it becomes difficult to stay close to GOD. Here are several ways to help.
