ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS

Annually in the spring a special celebration is scheduled for couples celebrating their 25th and 50th anniversaries of marriage during the year. Their families are invited to join us as they are honored at Mass and presented with flowers and a gift.  The next year’s celebration is May 13, 2023 at the 4:00 pm Mass at St. Joseph.

JR. CATHOLIC DAUGHTERS OF AMERICA (JCDA)

The JCDA was founded in 1926 under the CDA. The goal is to help girls enrich their lives through service to others in their church, community and the world.  The JCDA motto is “Be useful” with the mandate to “love God, serve others, and live nobly.” 

 

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

 The organization was chartered on March 29, 1882 in the state of Connecticut. The Knights of Columbus are Catholic men who signify that the membership embodies knightly ideals of spirituality and service to the Church, country, and fellowmen. KNIGHTS OF PETER CLAVER

Knights of Peter Claver were incorporated in Mobile, Alabama on July 12, 1911. The Knights render service to God and His Holy Church, recognize the Fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man, and assist the hierarchy and the clergy of the Roman Catholic Church.

 

KNIGHTS OF PETER CLAVER (KPC) LADIES AUXILIARY

 KPC Ladies Auxiliary was recognized as a division of Peter Claver in 1926. The purpose is to render service to God and His Holy Church, and to be faithful to His doctrine. The auxiliary also provides mutual aid and assistance to the members, and promotes friendship, unity, and Christian charity.

 

RIVER ROAD CATHOLICS YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY

ST. MICHAEL FALL FESTIVAL/FUND RAISERS

The annual Festival is generally held on the first weekend in October and is dedicated towards the preservation of St. Michael's historic buildings.
