The weekend of July 25/26, 2020 we will present a brief information for the support of Evangelization work in rural tribal areas in the catholic diocese of Warangal, India. This Evangelization program is aimed to carry the Gospel message to tribal people who live in rural areas and are deprived of the necessities like clean water, electricity, proper housing, education, healthcare, and sanitation. They have their own DIALECT and only speak without a script. Most. Rev. Bala Udumala along with his priests, religious and a team of laity leaders are actively involved first to learn their language and catechizing them and to promote education for children in this area. Sometimes our attempts at giving, even when giving our best, seems like a drop in an infinite ocean of need. We do not need to worry. An ocean is made of up individual drops. Our drop, combined with countless others, we cannot see, can come together, and make a tremendous difference. You never know what it may lead to. True giving is giving until it hurts, until it costs you something, until you feel a pang when giving. Covid 19 is the best example for all of us. All of us are affected in one way or the other. That is when you know you have truly given. Fr. Vincent J. Dufresne and Fr. Alexander Sheldon will deliver the message about the diocese of Warangal and its mission. A second collection will be taken for the work of Evangelization for the Mission in the diocese of Warangal and please be generous in supporting their mission. Thank you. |
